We Don’t Know

Stonehenge

I took a day trip to Stonehenge today. To get my mystical and spiritual fix. I guess it could have been some sort of cleansing, too.

Why was it build? How was it built? These are the questions the audio guide couldn’t answer. But people don’t know either. We don’t know.

  1. We, floating on a giant membrane, finite in size but without boundaries, are joined by an infinite number of other membranes floating with us in a higher space…

  2. You could watch “This Is Spinal Tap” to deepen the UK Stonehenge tinge!

[Nigel, introducing the Stonehenge theme concert]
In ancient times, hundreds of years before the dawn of history, an ancient race of people… the Druids. No one knows who they were or what they were doing…

or just my most favorite dialogue:

[Nigel is playing a soft piece on the piano]
    Marty DiBergi: It’s very pretty.
Nigel Tufnel: Yeah, I’ve been fooling around with it for a few months.
Marty DiBergi: It’s a bit of a departure from what you normally play.
Nigel Tufnel: It’s part of a trilogy, a musical trilogy I’m working on in D minor which is the saddest of all keys, I find. People weep instantly when they hear it, and I don’t know why.
    Marty DiBergi: It’s very nice.
Nigel Tufnel: You know, just simple lines intertwining, you know, very much like – I’m really influenced by Mozart and Bach, and it’s sort of in between those, really. It’s like a Mach piece, really. It’s sort of…
Marty DiBergi: What do you call this?
Nigel Tufnel: Well, this piece is called “Lick My Love Pump”.

  3. Ah! Someone’s being me, but there’s only one me, so which me is me, maybe it’s the other me. We’d better stay away from each other though. This is dangerous… Miss you dahling.
