Monk’s Juice
The Élixir Végétal de la Grande-Chartreuse is a liqueur made by Cartusian Monks after a receipe from 1605. Named after the monastry near Grenoble, this herbal schnapps is 69% strong, just what the lady needs. It’s best consumed by drip dropping it on a tiny spoon filled with sugar. So yummy! 130 medicinal and aromatic plants and flowers never tasted better.
Especially after a big meal, the Élixir Végétal does wonders to a full tummy. You can basically eat the same amount again.
The liqueur is sold in small wooden-covered bottles. Probably to prevent it from turning bad from the sun light but who can keep this bottle hidden for long?
