Hotnuts Jurassic Park IV at lots for ‘sauruses stumbling on the dance floor after Peg Zilla’s and Tyrantasarus Skanks’ performance unleashed slimey dino eggs. Watch Peg & Skanks eat their offspring.
Thank you for the ancient times. Jurassic never felt so Permian.

Hercules & Love Affair will return with a new album at the end of January 2011, called Blue Songs.
The first taste of the new album, My House, features new vocalist Shaun Wright and has Hercules sounding housier than ever.
When I saw the band perform in Toronto this summer, I got very excited about their new music. The new Hercules sounded pushier, less disco, going more into an acid and deep house direction. Can’t wait for Blue Songs.

These Viktor & Rolf babies would be my perfect winter boots.
Walking on an egg carton and squishing the slush onto people next to me. OUT OF MY WAY!
I’m so addicted to two songs by jj. How can you resist the opening lines of “Fuck all you hoes? Get a grip.” sung in sweet melancholic tones that turns out to be a balearic r&b number. What? “Let Them” samples Akon’s – Right Now (Na Na Na) and incorporates lyrics from T.I.’s – Let Them Talk.
The second song of the Swedish duo that is on repeat over hurr is ceo birthday, a cover version of Birthday Sex, turned into a piano ballad that skips the Birthday Sex chorus.
You can download ceo birthday and let them for free from sincerely yours, jj’s label.

Aside from all the tracks below, my favourite album right now is Chic Organization Box Set Volume 1 – “Savoir Faire”. It has so many disco classics, some are remixed for the first time by Dimitri from Paris. It’s a treasure.
- A Taste of The Honeys – Essential (Nick Holder’s Essential Mix) – Women On Wax
The Ladies of Detroit remixed by Toronto’s Nick Holder. I know this one is from 2008, but I just found it recently. Love it.
- Lee Foss – U Got Me EP – Hot Creations
U Got Me and Run Around are the little bit old school chopped up vocal hits that were released this summer.
- Bon Iver – Woods (das hussy Remix)
Months ago, I begged das hussy to remix Woods by Bon Iver. And when she did, I was in deep house heaven. Listen and download.
- Kim Ann Foxman – Creature / What You Need – MR. INTL
I almost wish it was a little bit less 90ties and more recent sounding. Love it anyhow.
- Storm Queen – Look Right Through (Vox) – Environ
Produced by Morgan Geist “featuring the vocal talents of Damon C. Scott. Scott and Geist met on the NYC subways where Scott performs.”
- Dennis Ferrer – The Red Room (Kyle MF Hall MeMix) – Objektivity
This is hands down one of my favourite remixes in a long time. Raw beats & hard stuttering.
- Justus Köhncke – I Wouldn’t Wanne Be Like You – Total 11 / Kompakt
Space – Deliverance (Justus Köhncke’s ‘Wild Pitch’ Mix) – Nang
I like to start an ealry dj set with I Wouldn’t Wanne Be Like You & set the mood. Smooth and bossy. And later hit the Wild Pitch remix of the disco classic.
- Art Department – Without You – Crosstown Rebels
Love the sloooooowed dooooown deep vocals.
- Mark Ronson & The Business Intl feat. Boy George – Somebody To Love Me (Herve ‘Very Vox’ Remix) – Sony
- Round Table Knights vs Bauchamp – Calypso (Zombie Disco Squad & Miman Remix) – Made To Play
It is what it is. Calypso house.
- Joey Negro presents Kola Kube – Why (Hot Toddy Club Mix) – Z Records
Cover version of the Chic produced Carly Simon classic. Boogie down.
- Toby Tobias – Rock You Will (Dub) – Nang
Basically a re-edit of Giorgio Moroder’s – I Wanna Rock You and some Chic Le Freak.
- Omar feat. Angie Stone – Stylin (Triad’s 118bpm Remix) – Peppermint Jam
- Andy Butler & Jason Kendig – And I’m (So In Love With You) – MR. INTL
Another Mr INTL release that will help us with the wait for the new Hercules & Love Affair album.
- Caribou – Leave House (Motor City Drum Ensemble Remix) – Cityslang
Very Arthur Russell.
- Michael Jackson – Get On The Floor (Holy Ghost Edit)
Fantastic MJ disco re-edit.
- Kimiesha Holmes – Love Me True (True Love Mix) – Quark
Original house track from 1989. Luis played this at the last Love Saves the Day.
- Trulz & Robin – Gay Boys – Catalytic
Only Peg Zilla could send me a link to the gayest track on this list.
- 40 Thieves – Don’t Turn It Off (Featuring Qzen) (Brennan Green Remix) – Permanent Vacation
Bubbly acid burner.
- Pantha Du Prince – Welt Am Draht (Animal Collective Remix)

I’m really excited for the new Michael Jackson album that was announced today. “By Epic Records in conjunction with the Estate of Michael Jackson.” YES. It’s going to be released December 14.
Next week, a new song, titled ‘Breaking News’ is going to premiere on MichaelJackson.com. This has me even more excited because the song’s name reminds me of one of my MJ favourites: Tabloid Junkie from HIStory. It’s all about celebrity paranoia (best subject) and he sings: “They say he’s homosexual.” I always have to giggle on that line.
As I am a total fan, I LOVE the album cover. It has a little Dangerous cover feeling, welches ich auch liebe! In case you were wondering about the origins of the MICHAEL album cover:
The attached image of the album cover of MICHAEL was created by painter Kadir Nelson in 2009. In the oil painting, Kadir – who is known for story telling through his art – takes us on a journey through some key moments and important people in Michael Jackson’s life.

This is how Hotnuts should be every month. Almost everyone was dolled up and ready to party.
Thank you for making Halloween the most fun.
Mary Messhausen’s sister, Vic, dressed up as Mary Messhausen and introduced her granny sibling, Beulah. It was quiet a scandal at Hotnuts actually, because Vic used the word “blowjob” on stage. We were in shock. Then it was the debut performance of Beulah Messhausen. And who doesn’t want to see a hot, big granny strip?
Next up were Margot & Margot in a total twincest number that had all the right ingredients.
So many pictures after the jump, gazillions more on flickr.
Up next it’s blockbuster time: Jurassic Park 4 Hotnuts on November 27.
