Mariah is a showgirl, blows up her ex-bf’s car and then it snows inside the club.
Of course, she is using M by Mariah in the clip.

Thanks for coming out last night. Gartina ripped her cloths before performing the third song, so there is a slightly NSFW picture after the jump.
Noteworthy tidbit: I caught Mary making out with a boy (I think) in the downstairs bathroom.
My dress by Mary.
We’re having a classic Hotnuts night.

Jaime played Lucky by Donna Summer on Saturday and I had totally forgotten about the Giorgio Moroder produced song from the Bad Girls album. I fell in love all over again, of course the rhythm track but also the way Donna sings here. In some parts it almost sounds like fantasy English to me, although the story is pretty straight forward:
I knew he wouldn’t beg
So I gave in without fighting
Been so long since I’ve been this way
Since I loved this way
So I asked him if he would stay for a while
Lucky comes easy
Lucky’s not shy
And if you’re lucky
You’ll go for a ride
I think it would be great on stage in fantasy English.
It seems I have a weakness for songs called Lucky:
If there is nothing missing in my life, then why do these tears come at night.
Lucky be sad.
I’m a bit behind on 30 Rock, catching up on season one. When Mariah said that she loves the comedy TV show, I should have watched all episodes right away.
30 Rock deals with the behind the camera action of the fictional live sketch comedy series, The Girlie Show with Tracy Jordan.
Here is a short clip about the age of Jenna Maroney (Jane Krakowski). It starts of with Jenna being cross examined by network executive Jack Donaghy (Alex Baldwin).
Two perfect minutes. Enjoy.
T-Pain feat. Ludacris – Chopped N Skrewed video
The clip features an elephant, T-Pain morphing into a CGI-lion and lot’s of chopping & skrewing (who would have thought?!). Sounds like a brilliant video to me.

The Mercer Union is re-opening on Bloor & Landsdowne and the celebrate the new location there is a party Wednesday night.
Jaime and I will be djing from around 9pm.
Can’t wait to finally dj with Jaime again. Last weekend, we spent a wonderful Saturday night together, that involved Nuit Blanche, Schlitzer Kümmelschnaps and a bear party.
The new issue of Mode Depesche has just been released. The cover of the fashion magazine features model and actress Marisa Berenson (granddaughter of famous fashion designer Elisa Schiaparelli). You may remember Marisa from her roles in Barry Lydon or Visconti’s Death in Venice. Of course there are many photos of her. I only want to point you to the cover of Vogue (July 1970), together with Helmut Berger.
Also, there is an interview with Peter Berlin done by Claus.
Anyway, at the beginning of July I did a short trip to Brussels to meet up with designer Jean-Paul Lespagnard to talk about his latest collections, French fries, obsessions and Madonna’s death.
Pictures of his work and the interview after the jump.
