The Toronto International Film Fest starts next week.
It’s blockbuster time.
Directed by the Coen brothers this has probably the most Hollywood stars. It premiered in Venice yesterday with Bard Pitt, George Clooney, Tilda Swinton in attendance.
The new Spike Lee movie. Two years ago, I went to see his 4 hour documentary “When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts“. I was hoping he would give a little speech and Q&A but basically, he only said, here is my documentary, you should not take a break while watching it. Thanks.
Written & (first time) directed by Charlie Kaufman. The general release date for the film is October 24 but there seems to be no trailer yet.
Burn Miracle Synecdoche
And now something totally unrelated but unequally more important:
I’m That Chick
There are first rumors that my favourite track of E=MC, I’m That Chick, is the next Mariah single. Expect full coverage right here.
Just when I thought I would never mention Tom Ford on the blog, I see the ad for his White Patchouli perfume featuring Erykah Badu. Do I have to cop it now?
That was a fun night that kicked off the new Hotnuts season. Thank you for coming out and making it happen.
Karen and Lex showed up as Wendy O-Mage and gave one of the best Hotnuts performances. There was beaver shaving, tampon eating & dick cutting, all in 4 minutes. What more can one ask for?
The pictures of the performance are after the jump as they are a slightly NSFW.
Maybe these outfits have been influenced by this trip?

You’ve probably been wondering, why doesn’t she have the iPhone already? I know, I know. But there is a simple answer: I was waiting for the pink edition.
I’ve been playing with the new phone for 2 days now and I appreciate all the features. On the other hand, I’m thinking, do I really need it? So, I guess I’m going to return it in the next couple of days. This is the new me. I can admire things from afar. Right.
Party with us at the season premiere of Hotnuts.

Roisin Murphy covered Slave to Love by Bryan Ferry for Gucci. Listen to the full song in the behind the scenes footage for the new Gucci by Gucci Pour Homme ad (via).
I’m back in Toronto after a long summer in sausageland. After I got here, I had such a sausage craving that I had to buy my favourite Bratwürstchen immediately. I can only recommend Johnsonville sausages. My personal favourites are Brats, Beer’n’Brats and for that extra special German-Canadian fusion taste sensation breakfast sausages with maple syrup.
I kind of want to visit Johnsonville, Wisconsin and do a tour of the sausage factory where I can stuff brats in all my orifices.
Pictures of the Comme des Garcons for H&M collection have leaked on the interwebs.
Very CdG with a touch of office clown. Want it.
